Vegan Crème Fraîche

A cream topping used mainly on top creamy soups such as tomato or butternut squash.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup vegan sour cream I used Follow Your Heart
  • 2 Tbsp vegan cream cheese I used Daiya
  • 2 Tbsp unflavored/unsweetened cashew milk or non-dairy milk of choice

Instructions

  • Whisk together all three ingredients until combined and creamy. I use a handheld electric mixer. Transfer to a squirt bottle or pastry bag with a fine tip to create a decorative presentation on foods.

Notes

My last time making this I used different brands of everything and found that if you're using different brands as well, you may need to taste and adjust the amounts of sour cream and cream cheese. 
If allergies are an issue, make sure to choose ingredients accordingly. All three of these can be bought or made either nut or soy free.
