Cheezy Garlic Crema

Equipment

  • Blender *Preferably highspeed, but not required. Personal blenders work best.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews *soaked for 4 hours
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 4 tsp (1 Tbsp + 1 tsp) nutritional yeast
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 3/4 cup filtered water or more as needed

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to your blender. Mix on high until smooth, stopping to scrape the sides as needed. If mixture is too thick, add a little more water, as needed.

Notes

*To shorten time, you can soak cashews in boiling water for one hour.
*If not using a highspeed blender soak cashews overnight.
